Toad is having a very busy day. And there are some very important phone calls to make!

Help Toad navigate a scattered brain to formulate complete thoughts.

If you get frustrated, don't worry. Just take a nap, clear your head. and try again.

The art of Toad and his other friends was very cute and soothing to play. The combination of sentence rearrangement and snake game was very interesting, and I enjoyed choosing English words as my body gradually grew longer and the difficulty level increased. And the ending from the phone call with the owl was so good that I couldn't help but scream.

Toad seems a bit laid back, but I felt that he is a person who is liked by all his friends and shares his happiness with them all, and the ending scene made me happy too. I wish everyone happiness in the future!

I beat it with zero naps and only one major mistake!

Great game dev, really enjoyed it. if you want to increase the difficulty, you may want to add snake-body collision so that the snake can't go through itself! Loved every minute of it!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing!!

There is supposed to be snake-body collision. At least "it does on my machine" (Chrome/Firefox) Would you mind telling me when you were able to go through your tail?

Tail

Hi Dev, I am playing on Chrome, not sure if this makes a difference, but please see the screenshot. I could go through the tail at any stage.

The great concept but the game looks a bit too hard in my opinion. You shouldn't make any mistakes?

Thanks for playing!!

I find speaking on the phone incredibly stressful. This is meant to capture that feeling. To make things a bit easier, after each 'nap' (fail) the snake tail resets and you replay the same call (instead of starting the game over)

I love the mood of this game!  The wiggle art and piano sounds work perfectly with the atmosphere.  I did have some trouble figuring out that the conversation mechanic was a snake game at first - I thought I had to drag word bubbles somewhere.  I didn't quite understand what the "notes for a great call" were for - you can't reference them during the call, but even so the "correct" choices seem obvious.  The "wrong" words in a call were really funny though, I got a few wrong just to see where the conversation would go.  Well done on a fun, short game!

Thanks for playing!! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

All great points! I was hoping for the dialogue to run off an 'adventure' style text interpreter, but ran out of time. The 'notes for a great call' were a way to keep people on track with the new linear conversation. I think it helps give people a heads up about the call direction, but like you mentioned, the 'correct' choices should be obvious.
